Privacy policy

What happens to the details you send us, how long we keep them and how to tell us to delete them.

Who processes your data

The controller of your personal data is Ing. Petr Horáček, Company ID 03028402, registered at Žibřidice 5, 463 53 Křižany, Czech Republic (referred to below as “we” or “the guesthouse”).

We are not required to appoint a data protection officer. For anything concerning your data, please contact us directly:

Enquiry form

When you fill in the form on the Enquiry page, we process your name and surname, email, phone number, the service you selected and your message. Name and email are required - without them we would have no one to reply to; the other fields are optional.

We use the details solely to reply to you and prepare a quote. The legal basis is your consent, which you tick before sending. You can withdraw it at any time - just write to us and we will delete the data.

Registration for the wedding fair

For fair registrations we process the same details plus the number of peoplecoming with you. We only use it to estimate capacity. The legal basis is again your consent.

Booking a stay or a wedding

Once we agree on a specific date, we need your name, address, contact details and billing details to enter into and perform the contract. The legal basis here is performance of a contract, not consent - without these details we cannot arrange the stay or the event.

Phone calls and emails

When you call or write to us outside the form, we work with whatever you share in that conversation. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your question. We do not record calls.

Data collected automatically

Every visit to the website is logged by our hosting provider: IP address, browser type and version, the pages you open, and the date and time of the visit. The site could not be run or protected against attacks without this, so we process it on the basis of legitimate interest. We do not use it to identify you.

If you give us consent in the cookie bar, similar data is also collected by the measurement tools described in the section below.

How long we keep the data

  • Enquiries and registrations that did not lead to a contract - 2 years from the last contact, then we delete them. We want the context if you get in touch again a year later.
  • Data about a wedding or stay that took place - for the term of the contract and then for the statutory periods for accounting and tax records (up to 10 years).
  • After consent is withdrawn - without undue delay, within 30 days at the latest.

Who we share the data with

We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing. We do, however, use technical providers without which the website would not work:

ProviderWhat we use it forWhat it receivesOnly with consent

Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.)Sending the email with your enquiry to our inbox.Everything you fill in the form.no

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers outside the European Union rely on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, or on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We may also pass data to our accountant, our lawyer or to public authorities where the law requires it.

Cookies, measurement and advertising

Without your consent no measurement or advertising tool runs on this website. Until you decide in the cookie bar, the only thing stored is a single necessary cookie, uvv-consent, which remembers your choice so the site does not ask again on every visit.

Once you give consent, we may use:

  • Google Tag Manager - manages the other measurement tags; it collects no data on its own,
  • Meta Pixel - measures whether our advertising on Facebook and Instagram works,
  • Sklik (Seznam.cz) - the same for advertising in the Seznam network.

We use Google Consent Mode v2, so Google, Meta and Seznam are told about your choice before anything loads. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on electronic communications.

You can change or fully withdraw your consent at any time on the Cookie policy page, which also lists the individual tools and how long they keep data. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out beforehand.

We store no cookies of our own beyond the one holding your choice. Further cookies may be set by embedded YouTube videos and the Seznam map at the moment you load them on a page.

Your rights

In relation to your data you have the right:

  • to know what data we hold about you and to receive a copy (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • to have it corrected if it is inaccurate (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • to have it erased if we have no lawful reason to keep it (Art. 17 GDPR),
  • to restrict its processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR),
  • to receive it in a machine-readable format and transfer it elsewhere (Art. 20 GDPR),
  • to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

Just write to info@uvetrnevily.cz. We will reply within one month at the latest. If you feel we are not handling your data properly, you can turn to the supervisory authority: Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (Czech Data Protection Authority), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, uoou.gov.cz.

Security and automated decision-making

The website runs over the secure HTTPS protocol, enquiries arrive in a password-protected mailbox and only the owner of the guesthouse has access to them. We do not evaluate your data automatically - we do not profile you and no machine makes any decision about you.

Links to other websites

Some pages link to websites run by other people, for instance trip tips or suppliers' profiles. The moment you click such a link you leave our site and the privacy policy of that operator applies. We have no control over those sites and take no responsibility for them.

Changes to this policy

If we add anything to the website that affects personal data, we will update this policy and change the effective date below.

Final provisions

By submitting a form on the website you confirm that you have read this policy and that the consent you give in it is voluntary. You also accept the policy by ticking consent in the cookie bar - both can be withdrawn at any time in the ways described above.

Effective from 23 August 2026. Replaces the version effective from 30 July 2026.
